About Jennie Lynn MacDonald:
“Working in ink and watercolour, JLM challenges the conventional concepts of the Muse, re-imagining the creative process as painful purging, wrestling with heavy metal demons or accessing our ancient cosmic beginnings. Informed heavily by her current pop culture fascinations, she uses iconic late-century forms to ask us to identify ourselves, to grapple with our own birthing/rebirthing practices, to pinpoint the sources of our own spark and vision.”

PURGE is Jennie Lynn MacDonald’s first solo show at Wurm Gallery.
